Boba Guys

An Asian-American owned boba chain with a mission of bridging cultures and setting the standard for quality. 

In 2018, I had picked up a job as a barista at Boba Guysinbetween my design contract gigs. I really loved the brand, the people I worked with, and their mission. I loved that they wer educating people on the origins of foods & drinks from around the world.

I had done some exploratory web + brand designs and posted the onto dribbble after one of my shifts. And woke up to a message the next day from Bin, the cofounder of Boba Guys, saying he really loved it.

He offered me a new design role they had open on the creative team, with him, and another marketing person. I got the job and got to work — and he taught me so much as his direct
report.
